safeguarding

We are committed to providing a safe environment in which people can thrive emotionally and spiritually particularly children and adults with additional care and support needs. We commit to doing all we can to ensure their wellbeing taking responsibility to safeguard them from any form of abuse. We will record and report any abuse that we discover or suspect in line with our Safeguarding Policy & Procedures. We operate all our groups and activities in line with the “Excellence in Safeguarding” guidance from the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Staff and volunteers are trained and committed to working together to build an environment and culture that is safe. Appropriate checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service are made wherever appropriate. Every member of the RBC Children and Youth teams has an enhanced disclosure check.
