seeking god
Are you looking? just looking?
Just seeking after what Christianity is about? who God is? who Jesus is?
God promises that if we really search for him we will find him.
Knowing God is about a relationship, knowing Jesus Christ for yourself, and the invitation to know Him is ready and waiting.

This page gives you some suggestions for how you can find out more. You can read some of the main Christian beliefs here, the key foundations of Christianity that come straight from the pages of the Bible, but there are other sites listed below which will help give you a general introduction to seeking God.
At Ruislip Baptist Church we would be very glad to meet you and help you in your search. Anyone is very welcome to come to our worship services on a Sunday, the various midweek groups, or get in contact with us. We'd be happy to listen, talk, and help if we can.

christianity.org.uk - is a great website which provides various ways to explore who Jesus is, what it means to know him, and resources for spiritual life as a Christian:
"Two thousand years after he walked the earth, Jesus of Nazareth remains one of those most talked-about and influential people who has ever lived. In the pages that follow, we explore his life, character, teachings and followers. We look at how he has been quoted, misquoted, filmed, reported on, worshipped and argued over."
Looking for God - helps you on your search for meaning and fulfilment, starting with a message from God and then explaining who Jesus is.
Two Ways to Live - is a simple presentation of the heart of the Christian message.
Got Questions? - Still got questions? This website answers all of your tough questions on matters of the Christian faith, and if they haven’t answered your question, send them an email and they will!
why not try an alpha course?
We would also encourage anyone with questions of life and seeking a better understanding of Christianity to come along on an Alpha course.
Details of Alpha at RBC are available here, or you could find an Alpha course elsewhere at a church near you from the Alpha website
